How pretty! The cupcakes remind me of the cupcake sales my elementary school had every month to raise money. Out parents would buy or bake cupcakes and then give us each a few dollars and we'd get out of class half an hour early and go to the gym to buy cupcakes. We were not supposed to eat them before we got home and I was one of the few kids who obeyed because I always chose the most brightly colored or elaborately decorated cupcakes and they were too pretty to eat, just like the ones in these photos.
"Too pretty to eat": great way to delay gratification! We were lucky, we had 24 cupcakes for 4 people, so we could both eat them and appreciate the rest, for quite some time. ^_^
