Assemblage and Disassemblage

There are sections of nailed-together wood in my living room, taking up space. But that's okay because there's also a big pile of stuff my husband is gathering to take off with him to Pennsic and once that's left I'll be better able to figure out what to do with my pieces. The Assemblage class ended on a good note. My second piece came together enough to get the intent across, though I need to do some serious editing. The formal photos aren't yet up on deviantArt, but I've loaded the set of snapshots on Flickr, including photos of the piece by the other person who stuck it out with me:

And that's the instructor in the chair I'd built, not me. :-)
