Night Lights

Last night I played with sparks. I'd woken up, as I usually do at least once or twice a night, and when I came back to bed I had some trouble falling asleep. I was fiddling with the blankets and pushed the fleecy top one aside -- and it sparkled! Dry, dry air and a polyester blanket. I found I could get a marvelous light show just by crumpling it, and especially by running my hand across the rumpled surface. Beautiful. But, alas, I needed sleep and so I had to stop. (But I bet it'll be the same tonight.)

I want to try too! A static light show is pretty good fun.

Try it!
According to one site I found ( http://www.school-for-champions.com/science/static_materials.htm ) the combination of human skin and polyester is about the best possible for sparks. ^_^
